Crystal Quest Demo This is an Adventure Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1, but the behaviour on a ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2 was not satisfying. Our advice: use only on 68030 processors, or try with caution on a 68040 processor This version of Crystal Quest smooths up the game on Macs that are running System 7.0. The game can be configured to quit the Finder before playing and then to restart the Finder when you end the game. This frees up some Ram and eliminates any background tasks that the Finder might be doing. To access these special features, hold the Option key down while double clicking on the Cystal Quest icon. You will then be presented with the following options: System 6.0.x * Switch to color if possible * Switch to black and white * Try monitor as it is System 7 will include the same three options plus: * Quit Finder ( Improves smoothness of game.) Choose the appropriate settings, and click on permanent or temporary. We have included a sample version of Crystal Quest to give to your friends.
