Decks This is an Help tool for Games Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. 68040 processor. These are three 'decks' of color face cards for Klondike, Canfield, Golf and Calculation solitaire. The original set of face cards is contained in the game (application) itself, as a set of 'PICT' (picture) resources. Some artistic souls have taken the trouble to paint these cards with color. For those with color screens, these colored face cards are a noticeable improvement over the original, black-and-white cards. To use any of these decks, you can: - Just double-click on a deck and your Macintosh will start the newest solitaire game you have using that deck. - Select both a deck and a game and choose 'Open...' from the Finder's 'File' menu to start a particular game using that deck. - Start the solitaire game you want, and before starting a game (or after ending one using 'New Game') choose 'Open...' from the 'File' menu. Locate and open the deck you wish to use. - If you are using System 7.0, just drag the icon for the deck you wish to use onto the icon of the game you wish to play.
